Dreaming of an invite to the Met Gala? Here’s the next best thing…
Museum Hack’s Hacked Gala is a dress-to-the-nines, renegade museum tour of The Met, packed with wildly entertaining stories of art, fashion, and change.
In small VIP-style groups, you’ll explore the museum, walking the same steps as celebrities do during the Met Gala, passing the Costume Institute’s exhibit Superfine: Tailoring Black Style. We’ll take you “beyond the runway” into the stories of those who challenged norms, defied expectations, and redefined self-expression—one outfit, sculpture, tradition, or law at a time.
In true fundraising Gala style, your ticket price to our Hacked Gala is also a donation supporting The Fashion and Race Database® (FRD) — a NYC-based organization focused on creating a dynamic, expert-led approach to understanding the history and impact of race in the fashion system and our everyday lives. FRD’s mission aligns with the 2025 Met Gala theme, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, celebrating fashion as power, protest, and identity.
So, NYC, your chance is here! In a world that feels uncertain, come dress up, drink up, make connections, and be inspired by the stories of rebels who made history, reminding us that creativity has always been an act of resilience and hope.
