What the H*ck Happens on a Museum Hack Tour?
Pre-Tour Planning
Your Museum Hack event starts with a scheduled call with a renegade tour guide. This ~15 minute call is to ensure your experience checks every box on your team building wish-list. You and your guide will discuss your goals for the experience, potential games and activities we’ll include, any special considerations and the day’s itinerary.
World Class Tour Experience
On the day of your event, your guide will start the tour with an intro to Museum Hack and what your group can expect from the experience. We’ll then whisk you off to the galleries, sharing some of the most unconventional and salacious stories from our private archive. For example: history’s greatest grudge match, a magic wand hiding in plain sight, or the museum’s most expensive acquisition that they are trying to keep a secret. Our guides are obsessive researchers and performers that ensure accuracy, mind-blowing facts, and connections between what you see on tour and your team building goals (like communication, collaboration, problem solving and creative thinking).
Games & Activities
To maximize engagement, we’ll pause between every few tour stops for your group to participate in a carefully selected activity like an icebreaker, or a challenge like Matchmaker Matchmaker. All of our games and activities are fun, engaging, and interactive; even the introverts on your team will enjoy it. If you’ve chosen to include wine, we’ll stop to enjoy a glass before continuing on through the museum. We’ll share more of the best stories and play another game or two before awarding prizes, then wrap up with valuable lessons learned. Your group will leave the museum energized, refreshed, and ready to tackle every challenge that comes your way.
