Our team gave a presentation and led a workshop at the amazing Tokyo National Museum. Afterwards, we led the staff and our friends on a brief Museum Hack-style tour of their galleries.
We enjoyed the Museum Hack discussion very much. Our team (including Education Department and Development Officer) got a good first-hand experience of the Museum Hack tour.

The Tokyo National Museum is the largest art museum in Japan. The museum holds over 110,000 objects, include 87 of Japan’s National Treasures. Museum Hack’s favorite gallery is the Toyokan. It features artifacts from China, Korea, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, India, and Egypt. The interior is modern and amazingly well-lit, and the space is very conducive to exploration and discovery (and mystery!).
