Museum Hack specializes in helping companies foster a positive organizational culture. We help bring employees together as a team — aligning individual goals with corporate vision, values, and habits through customized events, fun activities, and workshops. We specialize in leading engaging and inspiring team building adventures that help employees improve their skills (like leadership and communication).
We recently expanded our services to San Francisco, where we were approached by two companies seeking customized team building adventures. Both companies are service-oriented institutions who wanted fun bonding experiences that drew on their commitment to service.
We took these groups to the de Young Museum, where stories of service abound. There, we customized events for each of them that explored the crazy gossip and unique stories hidden in the de Young, all while fostering fun team bonding. Read on to hear what they had to say about their museum adventures.
UC Berkeley Hillel serves one of the most active Jewish campus communities in the country. They provide a welcoming space for Jewish students to socialize, learn, and become actively involved in the community.
“We had such a great time with Adrian!”

We also hosted SBOX Inc., a tech company that designs and manages Splunk environments for clients around the world. They focus on providing excellent customer service and building successful data-driven infrastructures based on industry best practices. We showed them amazing stories of service within the de Young. We also took them on an awesome Scavenger Hunt themed to their company.
Tour was great! I was not sure how it would go over with our crowd but it was definitely a success. I made a short post yesterday on the travel advisor. No real feedback except it was too short! There was so much we didn’t get to see. Had I thought about it some more, I would have left some time for people to go up to the tower since some of our team may never make it back to the De Young. Unless we do another Hack of course!
