A couple of weeks ago, a group of 7 guests from qualitative market research firm Marketry joined us for a fast-paced team building tour of the de Young, focused on giving the group a fresh dose of inspiration.
Before the tour, our guides had a phone call with Marketry to learn exactly what the group wanted to get from their exciting afternoon of team building at the museum. Knowing that it was important to highlight pieces at the museum that reflected the group’s interest, our guides did custom research for artifacts that made the company and industry shine, focusing on all things marketing.
Combining the best of what the de Young’s eclectic collection has to offer with the group’s custom stops, our renegade guides revealed wild, unexpected stories behind the museum’s fantastic collection. Games throughout the tour encouraged the group to engage in a little friendly competition, designed to get them working together and bonding like never before.
To top it all of, the group enjoyed a glass of wine in the museum’s atrium — the perfect opportunity to recharge for the second half of the tour.
