A Whole New Approach to Scavenger Hunts
Museum Hack takes a different approach to scavenger hunts in Chicago. Your hunt takes place in a museum and includes stories, photo challenges and prizes. These are not your traditional clues! You will take #selfies with the art and find your statue twins -- all on a fast paced scavenger hunt that will have you racing to the finish. Our goal is for you to have fun and experience the museum in a way you never imagined before.
Your hunt can be customized to your group. For example, a technology company or startup could do a "Technology Through Time Scavenger Hunt", and a health services organization could do an "Ancient Medicine Hunt". Customization is optional but encouraged. We also have scavenger hunts suitable for families with young children and groups from other organizations like schools and charities.
So you can appreciate the museum instead of just racing through it

Testimonials From Museum Scavenger Hunters
We really enjoyed our museum hack with Dustin. From the start, where we were told which door to enter to avoid the lines, through the Dino scavenger hunt, the tour was first rate. Dustin knew tons of things we could have never found out, and his enthusiasm was perfect for a diverse group.
It was a perfect way to get an overview of a great museum. I'd definitely recommend it to everyone!
I work at a museum, adore museums and could not wait to try out a Museum Hack tour for my bachelorette. Kate V. and Dustin were our guides, and clearly had everyone's comfort in mind -- name tags for all, art appreciation and drink break, a chance to sit and even a pre visit email to see if there were any galleries we wanted to focus on. Our ease and comfort in the Met let my group of 9 fully immerse ourselves in the stories as we traveled to galleries and artworks that were new to us all. Kate V. (for victory) and Dustin's humor brought the tour to another level, and within 15 minutes we felt like we were friends with them.
I highly recommend a Museum Hack tour and to do a scavenger hunt with them if possible -- I think the hunt was one of the highlights for my group! (even as we got incredibly competitive)
If your office is looking for a new and interesting type of team-building experience, Museum Hack offers a really fun and unique opportunity to enjoy the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a way you never have before! On September 25, 2015, 114 of my coworkers and I arrived at the Met, not really knowing what was about to happen. We broke up into smaller groups of 12 or 13 each, and the amazing Museum Hack tour guides took us on a whirlwind tour of some fascinating pieces in the museum's collection, and told us some background stories and facts that we could never have learned from reading the descriptions on the wall. The best thing was that I've never laughed so much in a museum in my life!
In preparation for the tour, the staff at Museum Hack consulted with us about what kind of experience we were looking for and what our interests were, and they were able to put together a customized tour and scavenger hunt that helped staff get to know each other, have some fun, and spend some well-deserved and well-appreciated time away from the office. We played some games together and even met a surprise guest performer! Our tour guides were definitely the best thing about the entire experience. Museum Hack has hired one of the most interesting, enthusiastic, funny, and well-informed groups of people I've ever met, and it was clear that they had worked hard to research topics that were relevant to us (a federal law enforcement agency) and present them in a fun way. Museum Hack helped us to realize that it's okay to have a good time in a museum! Thanks, Museum Hack!
