The Metropolitan Museum of Art is full of amazing women, and we strive to celebrate them with our Badass Bitches of the Met tour!
Earlier this year, we had the opportunity to take a small team from the Open Society Foundations on a private Badass Bitches tour. The Open Society Foundations is an organization that works to bring social change for all citizens and describes its mission as “seeking to strengthen the rule of law; respect for human rights, minorities, and a diversity of opinions; democratically elected governments; and a civil society that helps keep our government power in check.”
We couldn’t wait to share our tour celebrating the awesome women of the museum with this group!
Kate, the creator of the tour, led the group on a two-hour experience through the Met, sharing incredible stories of lesser known women. The team competed to find the baddest bitch in the museum and posed with statues for Polaroid photos in the sculpture courtyard. The group enjoyed a glass of wine in the museum’s cafe before heading home for the afternoon.
Open Society Foundations enjoyed their Badass Bitches tour and we loved sharing these stories with them!
“We had a great time on the tour! Kate was amazing, and we learned a lot and had a ton of fun. The tour set up a great mood for the rest of our retreat and the whole team has been highly recommending it to other programs and departments in our organization.”
