We sat down with Taylor to get to know her a little better.

Museum Hack: Why did you apply to work with Museum Hack?

Taylor: It’s pretty simple, I f****** love museums too! I have loved art and storytelling for as long as I can remember. Art has always been a huge part of my life. I knew the second I discovered Museum Hack, I wanted to be part of the renegade team that is reinventing the way we interact with these marvelous and magical spaces!

Museum Hack: Tell us about one of your favorite Museum Hack experiences.

Taylor: My Scav Boss audition in San Francisco with Casey! She is awesome! Her energy, knowledge and passion gave me a whole new perspective on the de Young! It was also very cool to see the tour from both a guest and guide perspective.

Museum Hack: What’s a fun fact that most people don’t know about you?

Taylor: I walked the Camino de Santiago!

Museum Hack: If you had to be trapped in the Museum overnight, what would you do?

Taylor: I would love to explore the archives of the museum. There’s a crazy statistic that claims the largest museums typically display only 5% of their collection at any given time. I’d love to see what they have tucked away!

Museum Hack: If you could work at any other museum, which one would you choose?

Taylor: The Louvre!

Museum Hack: If you were to be reincarnated as an animal, which would it be and why?

Taylor: This is a tough one! My favorite animal is an elephant but I’ve always been drawn to the mysteries of the sea. I really want to know if Atlantis is down there somewhere so I’d have to go with a whale. 🙂
