Today, we sat down with Sam, our Operations Support Representative! Sam is a key piece of our behind-the-scenes team, always working to make sure our tours are scheduled, our customers are happy, and our lives are easier! Get to know more about Sam below.

Museum Hack: Why did you apply to work with Museum Hack?
Sam: Because museums are my love language and remote work is my jam. I loved the idea of having a job in the museum world that I could do from my local coffee shop — or at home in my pajamas! More than that, though, I believe in the mission. Once I read what Museum Hack was all about, I knew I had to be part of this team!
 
Museum Hack: Tell us about one of your favorite Museum Hack experiences.
Sam: Traveling to NYC and meeting everyone! It was so much fun getting to go on a few Museum Hack tours, taking part in a company trainage, and hanging out IRL with the awesome people I work with every day!
 
Museum Hack: What’s a fun fact that most people don’t know about you?
Sam: In 2014, I saw One Direction in concert six times over a four month period.
 
Museum Hack: If you had to be trapped in the Museum overnight, what would you do?
Sam: Listen to loud music, run around in my socks, and TOUCH THINGS.
 
Museum Hack: If you could work at any other museum, which one would you choose?
Sam: Oh man, the British Museum. I’ve been twice and it wasn’t enough. It’ll never be enough.
 
Museum Hack: If you were to be reincarnated as an animal, which would it be and why?
Sam: A bird. I’d love to have the freedom to fly wherever I want, whenever I want. Also I’d totally swoop down and steal people’s french fries.
