Meet Nadia: Customer Service Guru at Museum Hack

Museum Hack
Renegade Tours

Say hello to Nadia, our very own Disney-loving magic woman. She helps with our corporate customers, private parties, and almost everything else inside the business.

Please tell us about yourself.

I’m just a cool gal born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Yay beaches and sun! I come from a family of immigrants from Jamaica and I’m a proud graduate of the University of Florida. (Go Gators!) I like to strike up conversations with just about ANYONE. There is just something interesting about finding the commonalities between me and a perfect stranger.

Why did you apply to work with Museum Hack?

Museum Hack is one of the most interesting art education / entertainment activities I’d ever heard of.  I’m not a normal museum goer, but I do love tours. Museum Hack gives you the best of both worlds: an entertaining tour through a potentially mundane HUGE museum.  Working behind the scenes of a startup is so fun… and can be a little crazy at the same time.  No day is ever the same! I LOVE IT!

What are two fun facts about you?

  • I am OBSESSED with Disney World. I go almost every month.
  • I am about ¼ Chinese.

What type of work is your favorite with Museum Hack?

If customers are on the fence about coming on one of our tours, I love telling them about all the fun things that happen with us at the museum. I love talking up how wonderful and accommodating our guides are, too! Although something may seem small to us, it goes a long way for a customer.

What’s a big goal in your life?

I want to start a non-profit that takes underprivileged children to different countries to immerse them in the many cultures the world has to offer. I was lucky enough to travel to many places as a young girl, and it really shaped my love and sensitivity for different cultures and travel.  My ultimate goal is to help foster more well-rounded and knowledgeable citizens of the world with this future program.

Thank you to Nadia for all that she does and for this great interview. Read more interviews with the Museum Hack team here.
