We’re so excited to welcome Lucas Isaza to our team of client advisors! Read on to find out how Lucas went from working a regular job in a boring industry to making history come alive with Museum Hack.
Museum Hack: Why did you apply to work with Museum Hack?
Lucas: I was in an industry that I wasn’t happy in. I needed a change. My roommate told me about this crazy tour he went on (Museum Hack) and how he asked if they were hiring. After watching Nick’s Ted Talk, I was all in!
Museum Hack: Tell us about one of your favorite Museum Hack experiences.
Lucas: Museum Hack invited me to NYC for a sales training and I was given 20 minutes to do a “mini tour,” as if I were a guide. I was terrified, but I felt great doing it. Since then everyone around me has had to listen to my little tour!
Museum Hack: What’s a fun fact that most people don’t know about you?
Lucas: Well this is embarrassing, but here we go! A few years ago I was watching a horror movie and on one particular scene, I was so startled that I threw my arm up in a painfully awkward way and I had to wear a brace for 2 weeks because I overstretched a muscle.
Museum Hack: If you had to be trapped in the Museum overnight, what would you do?
Lucas: Easy…. Parkour.
Museum Hack: If you could work at any other museum, which one would you choose?
Lucas: The American Museum of Natural History. I like animals!
Museum Hack: If you were to be reincarnated as an animal, which would it be and why?
Lucas: Bald Eagle… because America!
