We’re so excited to announce Erika Meiser has joined our team of Client Advisors at Museum Hack!
We sat down with Erika to get to know her a little better.
Museum Hack: Why did you apply to work with Museum Hack?
Erika: I applied to work with MH because I’ve been stalking the company for the last year, watching it evolve and grow. I knew I could help fulfill their mission for world domination, so I applied and found my tribe of weirdos.
Museum Hack: Tell us about one of your favorite Museum Hack experiences.
Erika: By far, my favorite MH experience was how I found the company. While on my first visit to NYC, I stopped by the American Museum of Natural History. On my way in, I saw this group of people in a circle talking loudly and getting hyped up about going inside. Excitement and museum weren’t typically found in the same sentence until MH reinvented the experience.
Museum Hack: What’s a fun fact that most people don’t know about you?
Erika: A fun fact most people don’t know about me is that I love the beach, but am terrified of what lurks in the water. Living in FL, I know how to swim, but have a crippling fear of the creatures I can’t see swimming around me. For that reason, you will rarely find me waist deep in any body of water.
Museum Hack: If you had to be trapped in the Museum overnight, what would you do?
Erika: I would touch everything! I would love to feel the marble, tapestries and vases. I’m particularly fond of Marie Antoinette’s dog bed and would love to feel the silk and velvet fabric.
Museum Hack: If you could work at any other museum, which one would you choose?
Erika: If I could work at any museum, I’d choose The Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, FL. It has significance to my childhood and brings back fond memories every time I visit.
Museum Hack: If you were to be reincarnated as an animal, which would it be and why?
Erika: If I were to be reincarnated as an animal, I would like to be a Blue Footed Booby. I know it’s strange, but those blue shoes are completely sassy and so me!
