We’re thrilled to announce that Hannah Saloio has been promoted to Tour Guide Manager!
Hannah’s new job is to ensure the success of all the kick*ss tour guides throughout Museum Hack’s FIVE operating cities: New York, Washington DC, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
Hannah provides daily support for city leads, oversees new city initiatives like theme tours (have you checked out our Completely Unofficial & Definitely Unlicensed Boy Wizard tours yet?) and STILL runs her own tours at the National Gallery of Art.
Hannah has been kicking *ss and leading museum tours at the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC and has been an integral part of making sure that our tours provide the best possible experience for our guests.
Here’s what Hannah had to say about her new role:
“I am the most excited about working more with guides in all the cities. We have an incredible staff of crazy talented individuals and I can’t wait to figure out the ways to best highlight their passions and strengths!”
Hannah’s supervisor, Ethan Angelica, had this to say about her promotion:
“Hannah was one of Museum Hack’s first guides in DC, and boy, has she shown what a powerhouse she can be. Between training up new guides in DC, tackling Audience Development consulting projects and helping out as a project manager on internal projects, she’s an amazing fit for the Tour Guide Manager position.
Hannah originally hails from New Mexico and got her degree in Museum Studies from George Washington University. She’d be happy to chat with you about her archaeological experience digging in Italy or her thoughts on RuPaul’s Drag Race and dogs, preferably over a dirty martini.
Here are three things you probably didn’t know about Hannah:
- She once went cliff diving in Greece off an ancient marble quarry.
- She once flipped the switch to light the National Harbor Christmas tree (apparently, it was a pretty legit large light switch).
- Her favorite book is Peter Pan.
Congratulations, Hannah, and thanks for everything you do to make our museum tours f***ing awesome!
