Museum Hack does company team building for organizations ranging from startups to large enterprises. We know that the most productive and successful teams need a break from the cubicle for some leg stretching and a change of pace in order to keep the creative juices flowing.

What’s one of the best ways to do that?  An epic museum adventure!

Recently, Greenhouse wanted to send their marketing team out of the office to (re)discover and cultivate shared goals, all while having fun.  They also wanted to refresh their storytelling skills to help them tell better stories about their company, both internally and externally.

We whisked the Greenhouse team to the de Young Museum of Fine Arts in San Francisco to learn the juicy stories hidden in the museum and refine their skills with our storytelling workshop!  We also hosted an EPIC scavenger hunt where their group worked together to find hidden stories within the de Young and bond as a team in a fun, low-pressure way.

After the scavenger hunt, we engaged the group from Greenhouse with a game of “Buy, Steal or Burn?”  Guests were encouraged to share about pieces of art at the de Young that they would pick to “Buy, Steal, or Burn” — revealing the hidden side of their personalities and fostering team bonding!

Afterwards, Greenhouse team member Barbara shared her thoughts on their team building activities:

They loved it!  It was an engaging event that brought the whole team together to inspire life and work.
