We’re so excited to announce Mark Kennedy-McClellan’s new position with Museum Hack. Mark will ring in 2017 as our Experience Consulting Creative Producer, focusing entirely on building out our offerings for creative consulting projects with corporate clients.
Earlier this fall, Dustin Growick (Audience Development + Team Lead for Science), has been in Australia speaking at conferences and working with a number of museums to share and model our Museum Hack toolkit of best practices for engaging and retaining new audiences.
His adventures down under first took him to the Queensland Museum in Brisbane, where he spoke to staff, facilitated an audience engagement workshop, and spent time behind-the-scenes exploring their research collections. But you don’t have to take our word for it:
Dustin’s next stop was the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, or TMAG for short. At TMAG Dustin facilitated a series of workshops to help staff reimagine interactive engagement strategies and new ways to interpret their extensive art, maritime, and natural history galleries. And judging from this video, Dustin seemed pretty excited to be there:
We are so excited to announce the promotion of Tasia Duske to Chief of Staff at Museum Hack!
Tasia joined Museum Hack in March 2016 as our Staff Manager. She quickly jumped into the company’s culture, taking on many leadership initiatives, including helping launch our newest Museum Hack location in Chicago, and project managing a conference hack for over 500 conference attendees. In her new role, Tasia will work very closely with Nick Gray, CEO and Founder, and other department managers to support strategic initiatives and staffing leadership.
Today, we’d like to introduce you to Honesto! Honesto, who lives in the Philippines, is one of our longest staff members at Museum Hack and is a huge driving force of our tours behind-the-scenes.
