Meet Carly!

Read on to find out what she’d do if stuck in the museum overnight and why she wouldn’t mind being reincarnated as her dog.


MH: Why did you apply to work with Museum Hack?

Carly: Even though I’m living in Arizona now, I grew up in New Jersey and spent a ton of time at the Met and American Museum of Natural History! I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work with two museums near and dear to me. Plus, the job listing was looking for someone who “gets sh*t done” and I couldn’t NOT apply to a company willing to be so blunt and awesome.

MH: Tell us about one of your favorite Museum Hack experiences.

Carly: Honestly, I love connecting with people I work with around the world! It’s been so neat to be part of a remote team that doesn’t feel like a remote team. And it was super cool to meet some co-workers when they traveled to a few museums in Phoenix!

MH: What’s a fun fact that most people don’t know about you?

Carly: I’ve published eight young adult novels and rescue boxers and pit bulls in need.

MH: If you had to be trapped in the Museum overnight, what would you do?

Carly: Ghost hunt!!

MH: If you could work at any other museum, which one would you choose?

Carly: I’m going to be (probably) cliche here and choose the Louvre only because it would mean I’m living and working in Paris. I love Paris!

MH: If you were to be reincarnated as an animal, which would it be and why?

Carly: My boxer, Chomp. He’s got the life.
