The 17th annualOrchid Show is a spectacularly colorful tribute to Singapore’s splendid supertrees!

#2: For The Modern Mindful Monk: The Power of Intention: Reinventing the (Prayer) Wheel at The Rubin Museum of Art
Did you really expect us not to include at least one museum on our best weekend activities in NYC list?
The Rubin’s exhibit, The Power of Intention: Reinventing the (Prayer) Wheel, includes both traditional and interactive contemporary art inspired by Tibetan Buddhist practices, specifically Tibetan prayer wheels.
This extraordinary exhibit invites guests to think about the power of intention not only in their own lives but also in how their own intentions reverberate out into the world.
In the image below you can see a guest interacting with one of the contemporary pieces, Scenocosme’s Metamorphy.

#3: For The Unpretentious Foodie: Pizza Walking Tour of Manhattan
“Where is the best pizza in NYC?”
That’s a pretty loaded question. Everyone (and their mom and grandma) thinks they know the best pizza place in the city.
Settle this debate once and for all on one of the best weekend activities in NYC: a pizza walking tour. Learn about the history of pizza in New York City. Chat with the owners of local pizzerias. Eat A LOT of delicious pizza.
I’m getting hungry just thinking about it!
