We’re beyond excited to announce Baxter Gaston has been promoted to City Lead of Los Angeles!
Baxter is one of our original tour guides in the Los Angeles area, working out of the Getty Center. Baxter leads several different Museum Hack experiences, including corporate team building events, storytelling workshops, scavenger hunts, museum escape rooms, and our public tours.
“I want to congratulate Baxter Gaston on his promotion to City Lead of LA! He’s ready to uphold the strong legacy of our previous city lead and bring amazing energy to the Getty Team!” – Tasia Duske, CEO
In his new role, Baxter will coordinate the daily operations of Museum Hack’s Los Angeles branch. He’ll support our team of local Los Angeles tour guides, be responsible for tour logistics, and will play a key role in the development of new tours and products in the Los Angeles market.
“I’m thrilled to be taking over as lead guide in LA, Museum Hack’s newest and bestest city (just my opinion, of course). While I’d like to say I am the most qualified person for the job, in reality my promotion was determined, as with all Museum Hack promotions, by a no-holds-barred Brazilian Jiu Jitsu cagematch between myself and my LA colleagues. I’ll be taking over from the incomparable Adrian Wittenberg, and I can only hope to have half the skill and energy she brought to the role. I’m excited to accept the City Lead position at a time when we’re bringing in a new freshman class of guides to the Getty, and I’m looking forward to working with the rest of the LA team to make sure the Getty stays f*****g awesome!!” — Baxter Gaston
A recent corporate tour client had this to say about what Baxter brought to her company’s team building experience:
“Oh my God it was awesome! Everyone participated and enjoyed the team building. The day could not have been more perfect. Baxter was so pleasant and with that great personality of his had us engaged the whole time. I keep hearing how good of a time they all had.”
We can’t wait to see what’s next for Los Angeles under Baxter’s guidance and leadership!
