Director of Exhibits and Programming at Air Zoo

Manager of Program Development: Innovator at The Adler Planetarium

Want a job that’s out of this world? Join the Adler Planetarium, the first planetarium in the western hemisphere, as their newest Innovator.  You’ll be their resident “think tank,” flushing out crazy ideas, brainstorming new ones, and always on the lookout to improve existing programs and cultivate strong relationships internally and externally.  Bonus: you don’t need to be a scientist!  Applicants should be passionate about communicating and sharing science.  So if your heroes are Bill Nye, Carl Sagan, or Neil DeGrasse Tyson; you know that passion comes from actually doing science (not just reading textbooks); and can play a good game of devil’s advocate to improve programs and inspire audiences, then learn more and apply here.

Mirken Coordinator of Academic and Public Programs at Colby College Museum of Art

We absolutely loved working with Colby College Museum of Art students to brainstorm new, innovative programs to attract student and adult audiences to this awesome museum.  Even better – they’re now hiring for the Mirken Coordinator of Academic and Public Programs, a role that supports the museum’s educational and public programs.  You’ll work closely with museum staff to develop new programs for students and adult audiences, implement the museum’s plan for diversity and inclusion, and lead curricular and collections outreach programs with faculty and students.  You’ll also work closely with the Student Advisory Board to brainstorm new ways to foster interaction, dialogue, and long-term relationships with Colby College students and alumni.
