Amazing Annie! Annie does all kinds of things for Museum Hack, like researching and finding some of the craziest stories behind the art, and hooking up cool business with the perfect tour guide for mind blowing team building events. Find out about why she loves lemurs and how she feels about landing her dream job.
1. What do you do for Museum Hack?
I’m a VIP Sales Associate. I work with corporate clients and hook them up with AMAZING team building tours! The best part about school was breaking from routine and getting to go on a field trip; why not go on one with your office?
2. What are 3 fun facts that most people don’t know about you?
I’m upset extremely easily by kid’s movies. I habitually close my eyes during most “scary” climaxes, for example, I still don’t know what Voldemort looks like.
I just figured out that Paul Simon is the Simon in Simon and Garfunkel. Huh.
In second grade, I performed a traditional Irish step-dance in the school talent show. That’s funny, because until then, I had NEVER done, or actually witnessed, an Irish step-dance.
3. If you had to be trapped in the Museum overnight, what would you do?
I would stealthily move a bunch of creepy-children’s portraits to look like they moved themselves to new locations overnight and freak a ton of museum staff members out.
4. If you were to be reincarnated as an animal, which would it be and why?
Lemur, easy. Did you ever see the way they leap? They must be the happiest little peeps in the animal kingdom.
5. Why did you apply to work with Museum Hack?
I knew I wanted to work at the Metropolitan Museum of Art when I was 11 years old. I applied to Museum Hack to be close to my first love, and more so, because each tour reminds me why I fell in love in the first place!
