Meet Angel: Accounting Coordinator

Meet Angel!

Our Accounting Coordinator, Angel makes the magic happen behind the scenes at Museum Hack. From invoicing to scheduling to writing contracts, Angel is a jack of all trades who keeps the ship upright. Check out our interview with Angel and find out why she’d want to be reincarnated as a snapping turtle who could bite your fingers off.

MH: Why did you apply to work with Museum Hack?

Angel: A friend of mine found this position and reached out to me. She knew I wasn’t totally happy at my current position and say, ‘Hey! You love museums, you should apply!’ I had an interview with Nick the next day and was hired on the spot.

MH: Tell us about one of your favorite Museum Hack experiences.

Angel: Flying up to NYC in July of 2015 so I could meet the NYC team and see the tours in action. This helped me understand that side of the business so much more and to meet the amazing people I work with in person.

MH: What’s a fun fact that most people don’t know about you?

Angel: I love rollercoasters! The ups, the downs, the twists, the turns. Bring it on!

MH: If you had to be trapped in the Museum overnight, what would you do?

Angel: I would touch every single piece of art. Every time there is a sign that says no touching, the rebel in me wants to touch it even more!

MH: If you could work at any museum, which one would you choose?

Angel: Oh, that’s easy! The Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam! I love Van Gogh!

MH: If you were to be reincarnated as an animal, which would it be and why?

Angel: Hmm, now that’s a tough one. My first thought is to be reincarnated as a friend’s dog. That dog is so pampered and lives the life of luxury. My second thought is a Snapping Turtle. They are surprisingly fast for a turtle, aggressive if caught, and can bite your fingers off with their powerful jaws.
