Feature: Museum Hack Turns Visiting a Museum into Going to a Party!
Alley Wire has posted a video feature about Museum Hack, explaining a bit about what we do, and why we do it. The clip is very succinct and enthusiastic, and we like how it gets to the heart of what makes Museum Hack different.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art can be intimidating. It sprawls over 2.3 million square feet and 13 acres, with a permanent collection containing more than two million works. With it’s sprawling halls of endless objects- it can get boring, especially when you don’t really know what you are looking at, or why the works matter.
We love making museums fun. We help people relate to what they are seeing. We take our guests on a whirlwind tour of some truly fascinating finds. Our tours are a blend of games, storytelling, and include a good smattering of adult humor. We limit the amount of people on each tour, so that each one is a unique experience.
“I developed the Museum Hack idea purely based out of passion and fun. It was a hobby that I was doing just with my friends on the weekends, just giving tours because I thought it’d be so much fun and because I love this museum…”
